Bernal Cutlery's crew sourced the very best powdered teas from Japan. We hope you like our entire selection. Hojicha is made in Uji, Japan along with our house matcha.
The amount of powder one uses for a single serving is up to individual preference, but a teaspoon for about a cup of hot water is standard. Some other uses for powdered hojicha are Hojicha latte, hojicha pudding, hojicha cake, sprinkle it on top of ice cream, the possibilities are limitless!
How to make hojicha latte:
Whisk 4g of the hojicha powder (ideally with a matcha whisk, but any whisk or even chopsticks will do), pour in 40cc of hot water, and then pour in 160cc of cold or warm milk of your choice. (add ice for an iced hojicha latte!)
