Dried Japanese Sweet Potato Hoshi-Imo　

Long considered one of Ibaraki-prefecture's tokusanhin (regional food speciality), dried Japanese sweet potatoes is now gaining rapid popularity in Japan for its nutritional benefits. 

We have chosen a variety called Beni-haruka, one of the most popular due to its sweetness, creamy yet chewy texture and bright color. 

Made just from sweet potatoes, no additives or preservatives. 

There can be a white layer that form on the surface of the potatoes but this is not mold, and is the sugar from the sweet potato rising to the surface. 

Store away from direct sunlight, refrigerate after opening.
