Tiré-droit regional folder, stainless steel blade, bolsters, and olivewood handle.

The Tiré-droit pattern was created at the end of the 19th century in Morvan, the center of Burgundy in France.  We love the pattern of this traditional French folding knife and appreciate André Verdier's clean fabrication and smoothly operating mechanisms.  A classy and sleek knife to add your repertoire!

André Verdier has been operating as a family cutlery business since 1859.  The first registered name of the company was La Botte Couronée, founded by Antoine Delignére in Celles-sur-Durolle, near Thiers. Today, André Verdier products are entirely made in France.  Most manufacturing processes continue are performed in-house and 95% of Verdier's partners are within 40km of their headquarters, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of their products. Over the past several years, the business has adopted a modern perspective while continuing to honor the classic traditions famous to that of Thiers.
