The Lancaster wood spurtle is light but extremely strong and durable.  There are many uses for a spurtle- this flat and broad specimen would be a worthy candidate for flippin' omletes, panckaes, crepes, and other flippy foods.  Great for scramble-y foods too! They also exceed flip-titude and are magnificent for stirring porridge, stews, soups and broths. For more on spurtles and how you can incorporate them into your life, please educate yourself here.

All wooden cooking utensils should be washed by hand after each use and towel dried before storing. It's recommended to periodically apply wood wax to your utensils to keep them hydrated. This prevents your wooden utensils and kitchen tools from drying out/cracking, and will allow them to last a lifetime in your kitchen.

All wooden kitchen utensils are handmade by local Amish craftspeople and artisans, utilizing hardwoods sourced from the Eastern United States. All kitchenware products are designed and made in the USA and come with a Lifetime Guarantee. Lancaster's passion is to design cooking and serving utensils that enrich your life through time spent making delicious food, enjoying home-cooked meals, and building relationships around the dining table.
