Un-grooved 'slick' 14" hard chrome plated honing rod with diamond shaped guard, nickel ferrule, turned wood handle and hanging hook.

These are great for re-aligning a bent edge by burnishing it. As it has no grooves per se it is relatively ineffective at bringing back an edge to a more significantly dulled edge, and is a great accompaniment to a more aggressive honing rod.

Condition of this honing rod is great however there was a few small rust spots that left some shallow pits.
