Butchers Pair J A Henckels Boning & Skinning W Sheath C Carbon Steel

Pair of J A Henckels knives with leather sheath. #68 5.5 boning knife is from the 1950s approx. It is a stamped carbon steel (not hand forged) with a three pin and single compression rivet walnut handle. Skinning knife is older, hand forged with the thinner wider twins mark and pin and disc rivets of late 19th early 20th century manufacture. 

Both knives show use but are still ready to get back to work with their fresh sharpened edges. 

Sheath is healthy but the stitching on the boning knife side has been cut (knife going in the wrong way at one point?). The keeper strap is too small to secure the boning knife however
